Bluebeam Vu was a stand alone product that was free and allowed the user to view Bluebeam PDF's. It contained the same layout and user interface as Bluebeam Revu, it gave the user access to Bluebeam Studio Sessions, and it included access to the Markup List that makes #Bluebeam some of the best PDF software out there for the #AEC industry. With the release of Bluebeam Revu 2018, the free Vu product has been depreciated (you can read the article from Bluebeam here).
The good news is that there is still a free version of the Revu software available. It is simply contained within the main Bluebeam Revu program and is accessed by selecting "view only" mode. If you downloaded a free trial and did not purchase a license prior to the trial ending, the software will revert to that "view only" mode at the end of the trial period, and you can keep using the software as a Bluebeam PDF viewer. Users with a paid license will be able to toggle over to the "markup mode", that enables all of the features in the paid version of Bluebeam Revu.
